The National Park Service requires each adult Crown ticket holder to present photo ID when collecting tickets and wristbands before boarding. Treat every name as operational information, not a placeholder. Check spelling against the document and do not buy from a stranger who promises to hand over a named reservation.

Minors without ID follow the published minor rule, but every member of the party still needs the correct ticket. The authorized seller and NPS control any booking question; an alert service cannot rename or transfer a ticket.

Order and child rules prevent casual resale

Current NPS guidance limits a Crown order to four tickets and one Crown ticket per person during a six-month period. Children must meet the published minimum height and be accompanied by an adult. These rules make an unofficial resale particularly risky: a real-looking confirmation may still fail the identity or eligibility check.

Discuss the climb, height, party composition, and names before checkout. Do not use extra names speculatively or assume an unused place can be assigned later.

What to do when plans change

Start with the authorized Statue City Cruises terms and support route for the order you actually bought. Do not solve a changed traveller by purchasing a second-hand Crown ticket or editing a PDF. Keep the original confirmation and follow the operator’s current instructions.
